this is the only one i've ever found of this type
found this while looking up Bryozoans for another post, looks pretty close to me, many thanks to El Pelon for pointing me in the right direction
i've been picking up fossils along the same seashore in the southern UK, for many years now, and have been meaning to start cataloguing them for about the same length of time. Now i have finally started, i find i have hundreds to sort! I have very limited knowledge but a keen interest. i do however have a interest and some knowledge in model making, moulding and casting, and its here i find most of my unanswered questions and seeming enigmas in the casts that i find on the shore.

Probably a Crinoid. Did you find it in the same area where you found the Bryozoan? They are often seen together.
ReplyDeletehi yes all the fossils are from the same stretch of shoreline, i looked up bryzoans and found this could well be part of the stem make up. thanks for your help
